The image which was used as the basis for this work is a photocopy of a photograph retrieved from the Irish Architectural Archive. The photograph, taken by Norman McGrath, depicts a model of architect Sam Stephenson's original proposal for the Central Bank site on Dame. St. in Dublin. Although this Seagram-ish tower was never built, the final building was sited similarly on a plaza.
