Four stacks of concrete modules, cast with rough timber in the manner of Brutalist architecture. The hexagonal form relates to architect Noel Moffet's proposed design for the Collingwood social housing scheme in Bethnal Green, London, which was in turn based on the geological formations of the
Giant's Causeway. A more rectilinear structure, reminiscent of
Habitat 67 was eventually built on the Collingwood site in the early Seventies.
