I began by interviewing an academic who had worked at the University of East Anglia about her memories of the physical aspects of the campus. The images are drawn from the margin notes in Kevin Lynch's book, What time is this place?
Commissioned by Bureau for Open Culture for Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven at Columbus College of Art and Design. Curated by James Voorhies. The show toured to the Usdan Gallery, Bennington, Vermont in April 2011.
The work was also shown as part of All Humans Do, White Box, New York. January 2012. the show toured to The Model, Sligo, Ireland later that year. Curator Aoife Tunney. Associate curator Chris Fite-Wassilak.
With special thanks to Diane Negra.
I discuss some aspects of the work as it was installed for All Humans Do in this document. The University of East Anglia campus is integral to both Carbon Dating and Some feeling of living in today.
